IT depends...
If you are a senior that moves around pretty well and balance is pretty good, then yes the small rocker gardening stool is worth it. The price at publication was under $40 and that is a bargain considering how durable it is and how lightweight it is.
I find it brings great value along with prevention of injury in the garden. It's sturdy, rust proof and easy on your back and knees.

If you do have trouble getting yourself up from low seats, I would not recommend this one because the rocker component is unstable and you need stability to use this one.

BOTH The Garden Kneeler Seat and TheXceptional Wheelie Easy up garden Seat are the WINNERS!
I personally have all three garden stools and I use the Tom Care Garden Kneeler Seat the most. I like that it can be a kneeler or a seat and I have tight spacing between my garden rows so this one is easier for me to use. I have to admit I don't use the tool pouches because I am flipping the seat over often to work on my knees. The handles to ease myself up to standing are the best so I don't mind kneeling to plant my seedlings in the spring.
I think that I would use theXceptional Wheelie Easy up seat more often if my garden was bigger with wider and longer rows. As a Physical Therapist I would recommend this one for someone with bad knees and back, simply because you can remain gardening in sitting and wheel yourself around the garden. The Easy Up handles are the accessory that makes this gardening stool for seniors exceptional!
The Small, lightweight Vertex Rocking Stool would be better for a person with good balance that has no trouble getting up from sitting on a low stool and has good range of motion in their knees. I would not recommend this one for a senior citizen.
