I had to get use to counter balancing for the weight of the battery in the rear when I was trimming.
A little heavy for reaching overhead jobs- good thing my shrubs are not that tall
Is It Worth it? – Do I recommend the EGO Cordless Hedge Trimmer for Ladies or Seniors?
Overall, my recommendation is that this was an excellent buy for us. As a woman who likes to be very independent, I shy away from equipment and tools with pull starts because I find them difficult for me to start. Well, there is no pull start with this one!
I give this Lightweight EGO Cordless Hedge Trimmer a 9.9/10 recommendation!!
With this cordless hedge trimmer, I can slip the battery on and start trimming immediately. I like that it comes in different blade lengths to reach up higher or trim more at one time you can have that option. We have other EGO products and If you do than you only have to buy the trimmer not the battery, because the batteries are interchangeable between tools. I always have one battery charging as I am using the other one.
It's light weight and I don't have to drag a cord around the yard and I have no fuel mess like other hedge trimmers on the market.
We loved this trimmer so much we purchased the EGO chainsaw(Amazon link),and the EGO cordless blower (Amazon link)
I got the chainsaw for mother's day......
